Our weaning workshop takes the stress out of weaning and makes it fun and easy. I understand that every baby is different and every family is different and rathe than giving you a rigid plan to follow I help you to understand all of the facts and myths around weaning and make choices that are right for your family.

You'll leave with a handout, some meal ideas and the confidence to start introducing foods to your baby.

Babies are very welcome in the session, but not required.

Join us for an hour of relaxation, sensory water play and baby bonding.

We start the class by giving our baby a sensory baby bath. This is a little different from a hygiene bath you would give at home.

We incorporate sensory play into the bath using movement touch, light up toys, mirrors, our whirlpool jacuzzi baths and showers. O

We then dry baby off and wrap them up in one of our duckling dressing gowns ready for their facial, leg and foot massage.

Adults can then enjoy a hot drink, biscuit and time to chat to other parents.

Messy play is fantastic at encouraging babies to explore a range of new textures, tastes and colours. It can help with the weaning process and fussy eating.

Join us for a fun filled music and messy play session.

These sessions are suitable for little ones from solid sitting until their 3rd Birthday.

The sessions start with 15 minutes of songs, instruments, parachute play and bubbles followed by 25 minutes of messy play using our large messy play trays.

The activities will vary each week depending on the theme but there will be at least 4 large messy play areas out for little ones to explore.

All of the messy play items used are food based and will be dairy and soya free. If your child has any other allergies please contact us before booking.

There are studies that show that messy play can boost babies fine motor skills, help with weaning and with fussy eating in toddlers.

The Nurtured Nest Messy Play Special

All messy play items are edible and will have the allergens listed on the tray but please notify us of any allergens before booking. All messy play trays are dairy, egg and nut free but are prepared in an environment where dairy eggs and nuts may be present.
